Even beyond this being a bad idea from a CRA point of view, you're going to create an internal record with all these lenders that won't just "go away" in time like your inquiries and low AAoA will. Lenders tend to keep their own internal records for decades. People that file BK or or burn a lender with a CO get denied for these reasons 20 years later sometimes. If they get spooked or think you're prone to fraud, you may not be able to reverse whatever internal notes they put on your personal file.

I think the odds would be a better bet on the block... Rushing is fine, but if you wanna make a play, bet on the fumble.

Y'all play nice.
OP has stated his thoughts, heard others views, and may (or please GOD) may not continue on this adventure... It is OP's decision and we need to remain polite and respectful of whatever that decision is... or we lose the input.
I'm going back to calmer waters... see some of you in the Garden!

+1 Well said.
Sorry OP...I wasn't trying to bust your chops
Many of us here have "been there and done that" with credit mistakes and we hate to think that someone who is currently set up for a great credit life would purposely tank it, in this day and age of computers you are vulnerable because they see everything and we know that from experience. One of the main reasons in the past I have been given for denials for CLI & new CLs is "two many recent inquiries", I have a great income (solid 6 figure) and have never missed a payment or late and I have 25 years as my AAoA having said this I have also had extremely high UTI (paid down 30k in last 8 wks) but when I had asked for recons it wasn't the UTI because they all stated (as I do) have plenty of disposable income after I pay my bills...it always boiled down to the inquiries and the thing is my inquiries were from Refi house, 2nd Refi of same house and new car and 2 requests for CLI Cap One and 3 new CCs within the last 2 years. I have had some success's this month but that was unexpected and I got lucky but I also had to explain all of those inquiries
Good Luck on your Future
No one has brought up the notion of the various creditors thinking this is Identity Theft?
I think the creditors will actually shut his cunning plan down before he can actually do serious harm to his credit.
I also think this is a six page troll job, but it was an interesting read.
