So, I searched through the myriad threads about the GM Buypower card, but couldn't find the answer. Doesn't mean it's not there, just that I can't find it.
I got a prequal offer for the card today. Plus is, it sounds like a pretty solid prequal. Negs are, likely a low SL, and I just can't see myself buying another GM vehicle. Ever.
So, the only use I would have for this is, get it and combo it with my other Cap 1 cards. Does Cap 1 do this? Is there any upside to this card, or should I just shread the offer?
Thanks for any advice anyone is willing or able to offer.
I honestly would not waste your time on this card. Like you said you are not planning on buying another
GM car and really thats all this card is good for. I have heard limits are better than other cards they offer
but I would take that as a grain of salt.

If you're not purchasing another GM product then this card will serve no real purpose. Starting limits can be all over the place. Lots of people get it with extremely low SL and others have fared better. As for the thought of combining...no can do...CapOne won't let you merge co-branded cards with any of their products. Hope this helps!
Don't waste your EQ HP or AAoA hit on the card. Especially if you never plan on own a GM car again. Usually low SL's as well.. Waste IMO.
