CC denial

**bleep** does pyramiding debt mean?  It's not a FICO term.

Re: CC denial

It means they think you are an Egyptian....did you app Penfed? They use this term a lot. With all your recent approvals (not sure of your utility), I can see why you would ge5 that response. Maybe garden for a bit. Good luck!

Re: CC denial

Not penfed but it was from another Credit Union tho. Uti is only 10% across all cards.  No card is over 30%. However, with my recent approvals and CLI's, Util should fall to 2% across all cards.

Re: CC denial

It's basically another way of saying "not enough time at current level". Lenders get a little squirrelly when they see reported balances matching cli's in growth. Keep the uti at same level or lower for a while and they won't be scared off.

Re: CC denial

Credit Unions issue some rarely unseen reasons like that compared to Prime Banks.

One thing i learned between the two. Where prime banks are super proficient with reconsideration requests, most if not all CU's stick to their guns so-to-speak.

That is of course is with the rare exception of NFCU who seems will overturn denials more often than not.
