Re: CC recommendations please!

Oh ok, Ill have to do some research and see what the best way to get another 5k limit card would be. Maybe since I have amex I'll be able to get a card like that from them.

Re: CC recommendations please!

With AMEX, follow the 3x CLI topic to get your cards higher.  My 91 CLI is due in June

Re: CC recommendations please!

As a rebuilder /new to credit you probably know 3 open lines of credit are ideal for FICO scoring. The 4-5th card you have will optimize this more in the long run but you would have to wait for those to age about 2 years. If trying for the chase after a year history on your other cards would allow for the Freedom/Freedom unlimited if you want UR point or Amazon/Hyatt if just trying to get in door. Also, chase being 5/24

(5 new cards in two years INCLUDING in many cases authorized user accounts)

Hi everyone,

Heres the quick story. I have no credit history except for 6 months as an autorized user and now I just got my first amex card. I am hoping to get a high end Chase card within the next 6-8 months but I heard they arent the easiest approval. I heard getting another decent limit card might be good before hand. Can anyone recommend a good card that can give me a nice limit that I have a decent chance of getting approved for? Maybe a lower tier Chase card, a quicksilver card, etc...?

Thanks!

if there is some chase chards including Freedom/Freedom Unlimited/Sapphire make sure you are not over 5/24 some cards like the amazon doesnt matter.
