Before i knew about the luv button on cap1 website circa late 2013.. I was always calling in the automated line. Never worked but the option was there hahah

Well thank you Soggie!  Smiley Very Happy  Just bumped that up to a bit under 200k.  No, not wealthy.  We're decorating our new home and really using the cc's for this.  Plus we have a small side business and it does well in the late spring, summer and early fall months.  HVAC equipment charges do well with these cards since you get the funds right back and can pif.  Have 4/5 in iPhone case & then rotate the others via hubby.  Serious swipe fanatic as I mentioned in other post.  Smiley Wink  Most vaca cards we only use during that time. And we won't pay those off as fast so that they can get some interest.  They're lined up and ready to go since everywhere I would like to vaca is booked for the next year.  Smiley Sad

regular number on card.  verify account then once its done blabbing it will say you can hang up or say what you need. then say credit limit increase.

 

any other time I call in, i completely bypass all that talking by hitting 0# repeatedly, then it tries by social, then by phone number, then finally it transfers. I have timed both ways, and this cuts the time to get a real person on in half!

Discover has a CLI option via the automated system. I beleive that if a CLI is available to you they will ask for information and do an increase; if one is not available then they will automatically try to transfer you to a representative at which point you can choose to hang up Smiley Wink

@Most of the Sych cards for sure hav either luv button, chat or in some cases both built in to its account pages. It seems that the better CLIs are gained however via either chat or call. But if U arent really feelin dealing directly with CSRs (which I think we all can understand - lol) and no chat feature exists then luv button is always good for modest CLI @ very least. And as U may well know depending on the card in ? those Synch CLIs can be pretty significant (esp when received via chat).
