CHASE Freedom App Verification APPROVAL chances?

I was pre-qualified for Chase Freedom and Slate.

Went for Freedom and received a message to call 800 number with application number. Called and was told it has to do with the Patriot Act. They asked me to fax my DL and SS card. Anyone else had this happen and had a good end result?

I had to scan my DL and a W9 for my Discover to be approved.

Did it all while in chat, was approved, and was told my limit.

All under 10-15 minutes.

I had that happen for the Ink card I used to have, ended up with an approval, they take forever and make sure it's not too dark or light via fax.

It's just some of the process for some. A lot of them have gotten a bit more tight recently, especially about security.

Usually with Chase according to most people on the forums. A verification slightly leads to approval.

This will end well for you otherwise Chase won't even bother asking for documents.  Keep us posted on final results.
