I was wondering if using the chase preapproval link online was the same as going in branch to see if im pre approved for anything.
(Mod Cut-This is non FSR and is approaching flaming, please refrain from this in the future) What it says on the website may not be the same as in the branch, meaning that it may say you are not pre approved for anything when you check online, but in branch you may be pre approved for a number of products.
While the cards on each may be the same, they are considered two completely different things (at least with Chase).
Sometimes what you see on their site aren't what you could pull up if you were to apply in branch. Sometimes by applying in branch you could possibly overcome the 5/24 rule but YMMV.
