I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions getting these guys to give me a cli. Coming around to my third statment and could use the boost. Chase gave me their card with $3500 but Barclay only gave me $750. I use Barclay to pay off all my utilities and grocery (for rewards), however at the end of the month its always nearly maxed out. I use Chase more for their bonus buys and other misc things. Its pretty much my go to card for everything. Any tips without creating any more hard pulls for myself?
I started with Barclay at $1200 limit, they gave me an auto CLI at 6 months to $2400. When i opened it I did a BT since they had the no interest/no TF deal, so I started out with a high balance, paid it down to under a hundred when i hit that 6 month mark & got the CLI. I know its hard to wait but at 6 months you should get an increase.
I just got Chase freedom card a couple months ago so I'm curious about CLI with them too.
I have had a BRcard fo r13 month now with a 500 limit. My fico score went from 570 to 653 today. I anticipated a CLI at the one year mark but do not understand why they haven't. I hesitate to call because I do not want them to do a credit pull and increase my inquiries by 1. Any ideas?
