On a different note, I noticed you're a Johnny Cash fan.
Today marks 17 years since he left us. Time has flew by!
Me and Johnny had one thing in common
He made great music
And I like listening to great music
Yep I know you're right! Good times! Cheers!
Sorry about the denials. Could also be due to current economic conditions.
@ccquest Agreed, I always ask Amex even knowing they would likely say No on the off chance they would say Yes, LMAO but I do hope for better luck for you next go around a Denial always stings no matter how well off your credit is.

I wrote Amex off after I got denied for the 61 day CLI three times and only got one letter. I wanted three!
Sarcasm obviously, but yeah just time and persistence is the name of the game.
Sorry to hear about the CLI denials. I too have recently been denied by Disco and CapOne. It can be frustrating for sure,I wish you success in 6 months, it will be interesting to see how things unfold in the economy, hopefully in a positive direction and lenders can start feeling good about extending credit again.
Sorry for the denials.
That stinks. I think maybe issuers are tightening the purse strings lately due to the recession? Could be a factor.
Every month I request a CLI with cap1, and every time they give me alternating reasons for denial: "Your Cap1 balance is too high," and, "You're not utilizing your current Cap1 credit limit enough"
