Hello All. New to posting, but long term lurker. I am trying to get a CLI on my amazon and JCP card. When I request the increase online I get this message:
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we cannot process a credit line increase online for this account
Is that a denial? Or do I need to call in to credit solutions? Where can I find the elusive chat button/function? I've heard a lot of talk about it, but can't find it anywhere when I open my accounts.
Guidance would much be appreciated!
That's a denial. How long have you had the JCP card and how many statements have been generated thus far?
Chat is availalble Monday through Friday during business hours. I'd talk with them at around 10 am on one of those days.
Thanks for the reply. I've had 5 statements from each. I have a decent Amazon CL $1100, but my JCP sits at $200 and I use it and PIF every month.
I'll just give it more time.

No problem.
Different Sync Bank cards tend to be different in terms of how much they give out. Some of them you don't have to much spending on and be able to recon for high limits like with Lowes and Sams Club. With my Amazon, it's grown the most out of a lot of the stuff I have with them.
And JCP isn't Sync so I don't know how they work with this stuff. I think you should call the underwriting department with JCP and see what they can do for you.

Denial. Go online and use the chat feature this week and speak with someone. They would be able to do a CLI.

I've had good results with chat on Sams Club. On other cards though, I have better luck with the automated system on the phone or just calling Credit Solutions. It always varies what works best with certain Synchrony cards.
