After getting approved for the Discover It and Amex BCE last week, I got a bit overconfident and apped for the Chase Sapphire Preferred today. They managed to pull my worst score (TU 625) instead of my best (EX 671). Right away it said 30 days for a decision. I called the app status line and it said 7-10 days. I guess the countdown begins for the denial haha.
Actually they pulled both TU and EX on me. I got a delayed notification on the EX pull. If it is a no go on the CSP, am I able to app a Freedom/FU without additional pulls?

Unless you apped at the same time, Chase will most likely do additional pulls.
Well, got a hold of someone on the phone and my app was declined. Reasons were previous delinquencies, too many inquiries, and low revolving credit lines. The highest limit reporting for me currently is $750 Cap1 QS opened last April. I was put in touch with a rep to help with reconsideration.
I explained the delinq (old student loans that stopped reporting in 2012, have since rehabilitated)
Explained inquiries were mainly from my new auto approval (Ex 8 total inq/4 from auto loan in Nov - TU 6 total/4 from auto loan in Nov)
Was asked why I wanted the CSP and explained that I have upcoming trips planned and would like to use this card for them.
The rep was very polite and put me on hold two different times after i answered many questions. She came back with a decline again due to the same factors above. Is it worth a second reconsideration call, or just lick my wounds and apply later down the line?
