CSP application

Hi guys!
First time posting here! So I applied for CSP 2 days ago and got 30 days and email for 30 days the automated call says 7-10. And I'm affraid of calling!
Oldest credit 10 months old WF secured 300$
Discover IT 2000$ 3 months old
AU on CO secured 200$
Amex blue cash 1200$ 2 months old but not yet on the reports!

What are my approval odds?

Thanks

Honestly if you had asked before applying I would have told you to wait... Chase generally doesn't approve anyone for anything on their own until they have at least 1 year of credit history (and it needs to be positive of course).

Most likely it was insta-declined, but you can always wait it out and see if you get a verification letter.

Re: CSP application

I didn't say anything about calling Smiley Happy just next time you may want to do some reading in the threads here before applying blindly. No big harm, but I'm sure you'd rather apply from a strong position where you have every reason to be approved.

Re: CSP application

Typically with Chase a 7-10 day message is a denial, but not always. I would definitely wait for the letter before calling Chase, because if somehow you were approved, the last thing you want is a LO reviewing your account again. You can always try to recon after the letter when you have a clear understanding of why you were denied, if that's the case.  Good Luck man

Re: CSP application

What are your chances? None.

Harsh, I know, but no sense in sugar coating it. You don't have any trade lines over $5K, and Chase typically does not like being your first $5K line. The denial will probably list (among other reasons) insufficient experience with higher credit lines.

That Discover card you have can grow like crazy. Get it over $5K and let it report for 6 months. Patience.

Re: CSP application

Thanks for your replies.. got a CLI on the Discover to 2700$ and still nothing showed up from Chase 😞

What other decent travel card I can get approved for with these limits?

Any suggestions?

patiently establish more credit, and try again once you have a 5k or higher limit reporting, and over 1 year of history Smiley Happy

Re: CSP application

Do you think calling recon would change anything?
