CSP or Freedom????

Hi guys! So I've had my CFU for 3 months now, coming up to 4 months. I also bank with chase. I went to the pre qualified section and I have green check marks for the CSR, CSP, Freedom, and slate. What should I apply for?

Average spending on CFU is 3k/month. Never carried a balance.

Aaoa: 4 months
Income: 132k
Cards: capone (300 SL), CFU (500)

I dont have a fico yet. Thank you in advance for the help

Re: CSP or Freedom????

I would select the card based on your needs and the value you would get out of them.

American Express: Platinum Charge, Optima, Business Gold, Delta Business Reserve, Business Cash, Business Plus
Barclays: Arrival+ WEMC
Capital One: Savor WEMC, Venture X Visa Infinite
Chase: Freedom U Visa Signature, CSR Visa Infinite
Citibank: AAdvantage Platinum WEMC
Elan/US Bank: Fidelity Visa Signature
Credit Union: Cash Back Visa Signature
FICO 08: Score decrease between 26-41 points after auto payoff (11.01.21) FICO as of 12.24, EX: 813 / EQ: 825 / TU: 818

Re: CSP or Freedom????

How about the approval odds on the CSP and freedom?

Re: CSP or Freedom????

Are they offering SUB's? The spend on the CSP SUB is quite high, $4K in 3 months, the Freedom is much less than that.

If they aren't offering SUB, I wouldn't take any offer until they do.

Re: CSP or Freedom????

The CSP has a minimum $5K limit required. You don't have anything approaching that yet, so it could be a big stretch to get that card.

That's true but if the income reported is passing through their bank they are much more cooperative than with people that don't bank with them. They love people bringing "new money" in their bank as most banks would.

Re: CSP or Freedom????

With your current crop of cards, I would suggest the Freedom over anything for now. It looks like the income is there, not sure of the AAoA but since no Fico Score is generated (yet), I'm guessing it'll be relatively short AAoA. I would add the Freedom and grow from there. I would give it atleast a few months to a year to grow your AAoA.

Scores - All bureaus 770 +
TCL - Est. $410K

Re: CSP or Freedom????

I would wait until FICO generates and go for Freedom, much better chance at better APR and higher CL.

Re: CSP or Freedom????

I think you have good odds at getting the freedom. For CSP I'd wait 3 months more minimum. If you can max the freedom's quarterly categories you can earn 30k + 15k = 45k UR vs CSP's bonus of 50k UR, so it's pretty close. If I were in your shoes I'd probably try for the freedom now, then in 3-4 months I'd apply for CSP.
