CSP with baddies

Just curious if anyone has a war story about being approved/denied for CSP with baddies!?

I have child support showing from about a year ago with late pays.  Currently prepaid by 3 months and no other baddies reporting to Experian and Transunion.

I'm showing a prequalification at Chase.com for the CSP

My highest current CL is $2K from BofA.

Most say that pre-quals are 90% solid, so you may be in the clear.  Have you looked at the credit pulls database?  There if you search the CSP and look in the comments section you may see some people that were approved with baddies and if so what they were.

I approved a $5k CSP last Aug from a prequal - at the time I had 3 recently (within 30 days) paid & closed medical collections on my reports and a 2.5 year old 30 day late. Scores were in the 650-680 range. I say you're solid on the prequal.

Same here. I still had one or two charge offs on my report when I received received my prequal. Score around 650 somewhere. Approved for $5,000 and CFU a minute later for $4500. I do have long banking history with them.

I was approved with a mid-high 600's score (cant rememebr exactly). I also has 10months of late child support payments and they were 120+ days late. I had been paying directly and had joint custody.These were about 2 years old at the time.  I also had 2-3 medical  charge off that were closer to 4-5 years old. 

I was approved for $8k. 

At the time --> Income = $100k+, 0% util, AAoA = 3 years and I had two other cards (Wells=$1K and CapQS1=$2500). 

I did not have a prequal.

I think you will be good.

Thanks for the data points!

I opened a Chase Premium Plus Checking account yesterday and took the $300 SUB.  When I got home from the bank, I checked to see if I had any green check marks in my selected offers. The 4 prequals that I had for the past few months were all gone.  Once I close on the house on March 23.  My first app will probably be the CSP.
