@Anonymous wrote:Anyone ever call the automated app status line and get a denial message? Or will the 2 week message keep playing until I get a denial letter?
The 2 week message will keep playing until approved. If the app. gets approved tomorrow and you call, the message will change and let you know.
And what happens if denied? Same? Are you just being positive? lol
I see you posted before I edited. And no, I am not just being positive as I worked in banking a few years back.. If denied, the 2 week message will play for 30 days. (A reminder for an applicant to be able to recon within that time frame). If after the 30 days pass and you are still denied, when you call the automated machine will tell you they are unable to locate your application meaning it has been closed.

Ok, thanks
I just went through this with a Marriot business card app. After two weeks of getting that message I called an underwriter and answered many questions that they had before it was finally approved by a senior underwriter. If I hadn't called I think it would have been denied.

You are welcome!! Will keep fingers crossed for you.
I think it's probably a denial though. Came across a thread that showed source code for the application page. Apparently it says minimum income of $14,400. Mine is sub 13k. Not sure how set in stone that minimum is.

If your income is 13k, then the outcome wil lnot be what you are hoping for.

Just wait it out. The CSP starting limit is 5k. So they are going to weigh your credit limit and usage to decide. So strong chance of denial but life is full of surprises and you never know.
As I just wrote in an approval thread, Chase is weird! I forgot about my application and was sure I had been denied since I had burned Chase in my Chapter 13. Then today, out of the blue, a verification phone call. "Congratulations, you've been approved." I was shocked. You just never know. As others have said, just wait it out...
Ok Ok......fingers crossed
