CSR app still pending should i call?

I applied 5/1 and got a 30 day email, called chase's app no. and got a 2 week robo msg.

A day later, saw the hard pull on equifax thru my CK account.

Yesterday, the robo msg changed to 7-10 days which according to some sites refers to denial.

I'm anxious to know if it was really a denial or approval, should i call?

I really wanted the CSR for the travel benefits and priority pass.

Background:

score: 750 both TU and EQ

AAofA: 1yr 11mos

no prior rel with chase

household income: 6digit annual

most recent card: 1 month ago from BOA AK Air

3 CC / 1 store card/ 1 car loan

Re: CSR app still pending should i call?

Just an update, coz i was getting impatient i decided to call.

The kind lady i spoke to said I would need to fax a copy of my social card for verification.

I had asked as to if that is an approval or not she advised id have to call again around 5 days after faxing my social.

Im still keeping my fingers crossed I get an approval.

Anyone else had this experience before?

Welcome to the forums! I’ve not had the experience, but having read about it, as long as you complete the verification successfully you are hopefully good. 7-10 day WITHOUT asking for verification is usually a denial, but with is usually an approval.

Re: CSR app still pending should i call?

thanks for your response, hopefully you are right!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I'm speculating since the hard pull was 5/2, this is just really a verification.

Coz there's no point requesting the social if they've already looked at my credit and wanted to deny my app.
