Re: CSR, should I apply?

Just caught this thread ... are you counting INQs or new accounts?

For the 5/24 rule, it's the month opened that they are looking at - so look at your accounts in CK and do a reverse sort by date opened and count cards (you can exclude real estate & auto).

In my case, I was 5/24 with the most recent opened 2/18/15. I had to wait to 3/1 to be under 5/24. Chase pulled EX on me, so CK wasn't 100% reliable, but close enough.

I got hurt by two SYNC conversions - PayPal and JCP. The new accounts didn't keep the original date Smiley Sad

Yes I agree and counting accounts.. While EQ shows actual opening date, EX on the other hand always list the first of that month even if your actual open account date is 31. Sad part is in my state Chase double pulls EQ and EX, so I am not sure whether they will consider account open date from EQ or EX.. Irrespective of what they consider and pull, the plan is to open on Mar 6, if approved that I will feel myself lucky.. If not (because I will be 6/24 based on EQ and 5/24 based on EX with one store only card) I can use Chase 30 day reconsideration to have this application approved as on Apr 3 I will be 4/24 with one store only card still in 4/24

Called the banker in morning for scheduling the appointment post lunch, he remembered and told me, I will submit the application and will try to convince underwriters for reconsidering your application if at all denied. Lets see, how it goes.. will update the thread in few hours
