Cabela's CLI failed - no HP, using old SP for denial

This was the absolute last chance for Cabela's to stay in my wallet. I came out of the garden a couple of weeks ago for Amex and Discover approvals, and thought I would see if Cabela's would finally grow. I was expecting a HP.

Big, fat, honking no, and no HP either. The only denial reason was, "Length of time account has been established." I've had the account since November of 2015. Guess over a year of usage wasn't good enough for them. The letter was dated 2/13/17, and the credit score listed (732) was dated 1/3/17. My score hasn't changed much between then and now, since Discover and Amex haven't reported yet.

My (now final) statement just cut yesterday, so it's time for them to hit the pavement.

It was $1,000, and now it's $0. I closed it this afternoon.

Wow... that's super surprising to me. Good riddance!
