Is this normaly a denial?

I just applied to see if cap1 would approve me. They seem to have me priced out of all of their flagships. I assume it is because I started my relationship with them with a secured card.

It could go in either direction OP. Hopefully the letter will provide more insight on the outcome.

This application would be treated separately from having any existing Capital One core cards or relationship.

I am resurrecting this old thread because I have finally had time to sort through all of my papers. (I pay everything online and get emails before due dates but still request paper copies of statements so my filing cabinet is a madhouse).

Would the letter reference Cabela's somewhere in it? I have a denial from this date; however, it makes no mention of Cabela's. It just says thank you for applying for a card issued by Capital One. Even though Capital One is the issuer I thought it would at least reference what I had applied for.

I was also looking at my report and I have a HP from PNC. I have not received a letter from them. if I recall correctly the website crashed midway through my application and told me to try again later.
