Cabelas

It's better to just wait until they send it i guess. In some posts they say that when calling into Cabelas the reps offered no definite credit limit and was told to wait for the mail. On the other hand some have called to find their limit. When i called today i was immediately put on hold for 18 minutes then i ended the call. I tried to peek into Experian but can't get in there to look either but since they pulled EQ wouldn't it show up there first? I hear that they report new accounts sort of like Barclays who is already reported my ring card lightning quick so my scores have begun to tumble and will continue until all spree apps are on the board.  Good thing i snagged a Cabelas before they do all post.

Congrats. My cabelas reported on Experian before I even got the card. I Judy got the card in the mail yesterday with no activation required. I was able to call cabelas the day after my app went pending and the rep told me the limit without any issues

Maybe call back if you really want to know or you can wait for card. It took mine about a week to arrive

Any luck on getting a CLI after it arrives?

It just lit up my monitoring program this morning (reported w/ $3K SL (feel short changed with it right now). It could have waited.

Thought they might have done a lil better at least a Sig Version. Hmmm

I hate to be the bearer of bad news,  cabelas is one of those cards that comes as a signature version with lines under 5k.  Mine came yesterday as signature version with a 4k limit.   Card looks nice though.   Don't know about cli on activation as I didn't try

I should have waited but the damage is done and i'll wait to see IF this thing will actually grow or not. Where i live sportmans gear is really big and ramping up the closer that Fall comes. I was looking forward to getting some real use from it early on but that's out the window with this one.

I studied for days on which one to try for but that darn SG SCT just wouldn't turn up and i believe Comenity would have done better out of the gate as well as we all know how they are with CLI's and SP at that.

I don't understand. What is happened to make you cold on them or rather why they are cold on you? They seem fairly average on offers but really come thru with SP CLI's and such.

@CM7,

They told me as long as my 1993 BK shows,  no comenity cards for me.   Luke I can make that BK go off the federal records.   That's the only way they could see it since it's been off my reports.

Incredible. 1993 is like ancient history now. That's way really far back.
