In the market for a new card with a higher limit, and I love that AMEX will do a 3x CLI if you're good
Which card do you suggest I go for? I was preapproved for the Gold and Green cards (not looking for a NPSL card) and the Everyday. But I don't know if the Blue Cash/Blue Cash Preferred are better...? I'm lost in Amex world. Help!
GL
delta, green charge.

Well, let's focus on just the Amex cards, and ignore the co-branded ones. Now this becomes fairly simple:
Do you want points or cash back?
Amex Blue and ED will give you points back. Blue Cash and BCP will give you cash.
If you eventually want a charge card, You might like the idea of points. Otherwise go with the cash back.
Your last thought is if your spending is enough to overcome an annual fee. Otherwise, no-AF cards are what you want.
I use both the Amex Green and the Everyday Cash. I find myself building up rewards a lot quicker on the Everyday card as the percentage of rewards are just simply higher.
But, obviously, the Green looks twice as cool IMO.
If I was you, I would go for the cash rewards, you cannot go wrong with CASH.
I will probably just be cancelling my Green before the AF kicks in next year anyway.
You will be much more likely to use the cash rewards over the points.
It is great to get your foot in the door with ANY Amex card though, to be honest.
With the exception of EQ, we have similar scores and I was approved for BCE, ED, and BBVA Amex if that helps.

I am not super picky with either. I probably will make a few furniture purchases on it, so cash back might be nice since I use Chase for points.

Thanks, this is great to know. I think I will apply for the Everyday Cash once my statement cuts with my util down to 0%.

This is helpful, thanks! I think I'm going to go with the BCE
