Hey guys,
im new here, have been using these forums for advice for a while tho. decided to pull the trigger on amex platinum,
got approved, NPSL, buying power 10k
question is can i apply for another amex today with no hard pull? i have a amex account established and my card will be here tomorrow
Welcome to the forums. You should be able to apply for two on the same day, but no guarantees that they would be combined into a single pull. Many people report successfully applying for both a charge card and revolving card from Amex on the same day and only receiving one inquiry.
i applied via phone call and was denied siting my charge off with verizon. if denied for blue cash preferred do you think i will be denied for hilton or delta? or should i apply for gold/green charge?
only want to apply and get another amex bc it will be a soft pull, or denied due to freeze bc i froze my credits after approval bc i do not plan to apply for anything else and my blue cash preferred was soft pull

You would need to leave your reports unfrozen if you intend on going for another application, but given that you were denied on the 2nd attempt, you're likely risking another denial regardless what AENB card you choose. I mean, if you want to play Russian Roulette + YOLO, go for it, but frozen reports isn't going to get you far.
ETA - personally, I would apply for cards that add value to your overall profile rather than shoot darts at the AENB board and see which one sticks. This will obviously be based on your lifestyle and spending patterns.
Agree with the above comments. I can say from personal experience that I was approved for two Amex cards in one day, twice. The first round was the Delta Reserve and Bonvoy Brilliant in August followed by the BBP and BCP (I know one of these is a business card) in December. All approvals were SP; had the Optima and Gold when I applied.
