I have applied for the suggested Credit Cards for Fair Credit however every application is denied. Is there something that I am doing wrong? I don't have bad credit just a low score. Do anyone have any suggestions? Could there be something going on with my credit that I am unaware of?
What are your FICO scores? Baddies?
Do you have any current credit cards? do you have any past positive TL's on your reports? You may not have bad credit in the sense a person with collections or CO's has, but in the eyes of a lender a low score looks the same. No credit can be hold you back as much as bad credit. Provide a little more info on your history and we can offer more advice.

Have you tried for a secured card? After my Chapter 13 that is what I did. After eight months I was able to get an unsecured card.
I don't have any Credit Cards only installment loans, that are all paid on time.
I have not tried the secured card, I was considering opening one up with my bank. Would this work the same as a traditional credit card? I am trying to increase my score.
Not knowing a whole lot about your finances and employment, I would say though that continuous denials aren't helping, just wasted hard pulls at this point. For whatever reason, at this point I would get a secured card. With proper use, that secured card will increase your credit score dramitically over time and open the door for better cards.
I did try with them this past Friday and was not approved. I really don't know what the problem could be. I did have a fraud alert on my credit report at one point, I am unsure if it is still active or not. Could this be the cause of application denials?
