Cap 1 CLI Request

So I submitted a Cap 1 CLI request and it was rejected for a bunch of stuff. That part is fine, but the credit report they used is from October 30th; does anyone know why Cap 1 would be using an almost 2 month old credit report?

They're likely using the credit report from your last account review. If you call in, the rep should be able to tell you when account reviews are scheduled.

I didn’t know that you could find out the schedule. I occasionally go to each CRA’s online dispute portal and initiate a new dispute just to look at the list of SPs on each of my 3B profiles...then I cancel the dispute or close the browser tab. Never had an issue reviewing SPs this way, and I’ve been able to time my SP CLI requests when my profiles are optimized + when I know the credit card company has a recent SP of my CR(s).

My $0.02

edit: totally forgot to mention why I commented here.  I hit the luv button for my Cap 1 QS VS yester day and the denial letter was available to view today. They made the decision based on a EQ report they SP’d on Oct 30. I optimized my profile before yesterday’s app & CLI spree, but I forgot to check the SPs on my 3B before the app spree. Had I done so, I would’ve held off on hitting the luv button. Now I have to wait 90 days before I can try again.

Re: Cap 1 CLI Request

You know, at first I didn't get what you mean, but now I understand; since the 3B report shows you all of the SPs done, you can look at it, see who has done an SP recently (and thus has an updated report) and go for CLIs for those cards. I'll keep that in mind, even though it's annoying to come across a card using a 2 month old report lol

90 days after denial is associated with Amex CLIs, no time limit for CapOne.
