I requested a CLI on my Platinum card and was declined due to a returned payment back in Aug. Reason for the return was due to me switching direct deposit accounts and my payroll not being credited to the new account as expected. I have made several other payments since the returned payment which have all cleared. I did email the EO asking for a recon and explained the situation.
Has anyone else had an experience with this and what was your outcome?
Part of being a responsible credit account holder and improving scores is to make sure creditors receive payments with no issues. BANKS DO NOT CARE, THEY WANT THEIR MONEY PERIOD. THAT WAS TOTALLY YOUR FAULT AND NO ONE ELSES.

This was quite unnecessary. OP was merely asking if anyone else had a similar experience.

Let me take off my sun glasses because there is plenty of shade up in here !!?
Usually I'm the one being accused of attacking people on here but we just gone call a Thing a Thing and keep it pushing.
OP owned up to his mistake of being too Relaxed during this direct deposit transition ..
to OP , give it 6 months to a year to be forgiven , it'll all work out

Thanks Score and Heavenly
No problem, your welcome.... Slip ups happen and all we can do is correct them and learn from it , but by all means, continue to hit the button every 6 months .
