Cap 1 CLI request denied - Account too new

I'm currently rebuilding after my Ch7 BK discharge last June. My Cap 1 Savor One card was my first non-secured approval. I received that in November. I figured I'd give it a shot and request a CLI after having the card for four months. Received a 2-3 day message then saw that I had a letter from them a few hours later. They said the request was denied because the account is too new. I'm good with that. It wasn't because they were burned in the BK. I'll try again in a few months if they don't give me some auto-luv.

Re: Cap 1 CLI request denied - Account too new

I'd wait a bit longer than 6 calendar months.  I opened a SavorOne account on 9/14 and got the 2-3 day message on 3/24.  Got the denial for too new the next day.  I had 6 statements generated but not 6 full cycle statements. My VentureOne (formerly a QS1) was approved for a $1500 CLI 6 months ago and I waited till I had 7 full cycles statements generated (8 total).  I'm going to try again on SavorOne in another month or two and hopefully my heavy usage will be rewarded ($3000CL and I haven't put less than $1600 of spend on it in any given month, and thanks to spending my tax refund on a new office/gaming chair I put over $3200 on it last statement).  Wait a few more months and go for it again!
