Cap 1 PC question

I currently have a Cap 1 Platinum and a QS1. If I understand it correctly, having these two beginner cards would prevent me from getting any other Cap 1 cards. Is it possible to PC either of these cards? Would that open the door to a Venture card down the road? I'm not apping for anything for awhile. A recent auto refi dumped an enormous number of HP's on my reports, and my scores aren't in the Venture range yet anyway. However, I wonder if those two cards would prevent the Venture card from popping up on the pre-approval page, when I finally am qualified for it.

Having these two cards will NOT prevent you from getting a Venture card.  Cap One only allows two "beginner cards" but does not prevent you from getting their premium cards.  Good Luck!

Nonsense. It won't prevent your chances in the least. I had two of those starter cards and STILL got the Venture!
