For every ailment there is a remedy.
Yeah, like a gigantic SL.
Yeah....
We'll go with that one.
Just remember when you agree to the terms... For Better or WORSE..Something along those lines
Also everyone is going to have Cap1 in their signatures now lol.. Oh the humanity! So much trash talk about cap1 and everyone is falling out of the garden.. So the question is Cap1 still considered one of the sub-prime lenders still, even with these limits? I would have to vote yes overall..
Question is are other lenders going to up their starting CL's to be competitive aka Barclay's....Probably just one notch above Cap1 into getting into prime, although Barclay's has alot of prime cards, but pretty conservative on the limits, wonder if they will start giving more generous limits? Chase is already there in generousity, citi can go either way..

I only really trash talk their subprime products because they are hard to actually grow once your credit profile can appreciate the difference.
If they actually changed the policy to combine limits, I would apply.. Until that day, never!

Possibly.
They never said it was a premium product.

I am strongly tempted to app though. I applied for a business card last week, approved and then decided to close it. Do you guys know if they use the same pull for 30 days? If so, I am ready to get to work on the application... LOL
Nope, they like there triple or double pulls; they got to mark the credit report everywhere that it is their territory... lol...Curious what was your business card approved for if you don't mind sharing?
@Anonymous,
The Spark card was approved for $5000. I was going after the $500 after 2k spend and was going to SD afterwards. Approved and cancelled 20 minutes later... That amount and it reporting on my CRA i didnt particularly care for.
Why not keep it for the bonus if you already took the inquiry and AAoA hit?
@Anonymous,
They said because it was not 24 hours for me to cancel, they are not going to report it and also have the 2 inquiries removed.(Froze EX and they pulled TU and EQ). I have received the letter to send to the CRA for the inquiries to be removed. I have a few spends to meet so didnt really think it through. But for the Venture, I am leaning towards apping again. We shall see..
