Cap 1 pre approval question

Credit score for transunion is low 600's with 2 and a possible baddy (1 is suppose to drop off this month) 43% utilization 1 year aaoc. I have a secured card with cap 1 $700 limit. 16 inquiries mostly auto. 3 other cc's. I did there pre approval thing and was pre approved for quicksilver and the rewards one. What are my chances of being approved?

If it came up that you pre-qualified, you will get that card.  Just be aware that you will have an HP across the board.

Okay thanks. Guess I'll wait til April. Utilization will be 9% around that time away. Maybe I'll get a better apr.

They do pull all 3 BUT was it the venture card?  If so, it may be worth that pull for you because the minimum starting limit would be $5k.  Something to consider if you are looking for that prime card to get going with.

This method is not promoted on My Fico. It is considered unethical to force a creditor to pull or in this case not pull a certain CRA.

OOPS, what I meant to say was, freeze Eq lest some miscreant open an account using Eq for approval and screw up your refi. Just a simple security concern...TU & Ex won't matter if your refi is strictly predicated on Eq
