On the verge of applying for a Cap One Card, but hoping to get some advice.
Getting 17.9% across the board at the pre qual site, but received a puzzling mailer at 24.99% on the Quicksilver.
Not much of a traveler, and the Venture spend bonus is a little high for me right now. Venture one seems not for me at this point.
Narrowed down to Quicksilver rewards, which seems to have great benefits and no AF etc..
The pre qual site shows a Visa Siggy photo at 17.99%, but does QS usually have lower limits than Ventures?
Fico's are all 750+. All my current limits are above 7k. Open accounts AAofA is 14 months, two closed cards over 2 years old. Thanks all
Quicksilver is a good card. Pretty straight forward and simple, and I believe 0% APR for a period of time and until April 16, you get a discount on Uber with it. The limits have generally been less generous than the Venture, but I've seen people on these forums get large spending lines. If you have good income and your utilization is low, I would imagine a pretty decent limit with your scores.

Thanks Shore. I hear also that the Cap One Cli's are Soft Pulls

Mine where soft pulls, but you always run the risk of a hard pull regardless. Not that it will happen, but with any credit card company, they have the right to if they wanted.

^ um that first line you put is complete hog wash lol. they are accurate and 95% of the time what is in the prequal is what you're going to get. quit putting false info on here
Thanks 2011. I guess I am a little fussy on this, because I am looking at a triple pull. Is there a trick to applying for 2 cards at cap 1, with only the one triple pull?

My successful experience was to apply for one of the cards from pre-qual, and get approved. After setting that up, only then did I apply for second card from pre-qual and was approved. Only one set of pulls was used. So if after applying for one you are declined, you could then immediately apply for the other with one set of pulls. AFAIK it just needs to be the same browser session.

I'm now getting the prequal for the Venture and QS. The minimum SL for Venture is $5k and the minimum for QS is $3k. Either one is good for me as my highest bank card limit is $2k, but if your wanting higher limits, then the Venture is the card for you. The Venture One's minimum SL is $3k also. Good luck.
