When applying for a Capital One Quickilver credit card which credit bureau does Capital One check/correspond with during the application process?
All 3. They are notorious for the "triple pull."
Had no idea. Thank you!

Yep, all 3
I actually asked them one time why they pulled all 3. The answer was quite informative to say the least. The rep told me the main reason is so they can get a full picture of your Credit history. As they know some lenders don't report to all 3. so what is on one report might not be on the other. This way they can get the full view. I replied. But thats going far and beyond what is necessary for a $300 limit. She said. But our accounts are always for the long term. So if we know up front. everything as reported on your report. We generally don't bother you afterward.
And i must agree. after getting approved for cap one. I never hear anything from them. even if i buy giftcards. Cash advances. Max out a card. As long as i make minimum payment. They never ever bother me or freak out. So it depends on how you look at it. My fico members hate it. But i love Cap one just for the fact. They are low maintanance. once you are in with them. no looking over shoulder with them. for Cld or other AA. it can happen with any lender. But cap one seems to be very relaxed about it. even during the Great Reccession.
As hard it is for me to say, I would have to agree with Taxi818, Capital One (haha, I even spelled there full name ) and we also can assume they stepped there approval ratings ....
You think Samual L Jackson walked in and said to the Execs "" ther'es a New Sheriff in Town" I need to get paid and when I say whats in your wallet, there better be more in my Wallet,LOL sorry i couldnt resist

+1
I love Capital One since they are so darn reliable... I know if there is ever an issue with another card, I can whip out the 'old QuickSilver, and it will just work.
The first time I made an online purchase overseas, I did a chat to let them know, and the CSR seemed confused as to why I was even contacting them... LOL. Since then, I've made numerous purchases to both Canada and Australia, and they have been approved with no problem. They also don't get bothered if you travel out of state often, unlike some others who will go unnamed... <cough, USAA... cough, Wells Fargo>
There are folks who like to 'rag' on Capital One, but they were solid for me when I was rebuilding, and they're solid for me now.
Which cap one card do you recommend for someone right after chapt 7 discharge?

I would check out the pre-qual site and see if they have anything specifically for you; their pre-quals are generally pretty solid.
I'm not really sure how long after a BK7 they make you wait, but if given multiple options I'd go for the QuickSilver One Mastercard, since at least then you'll have a chance to 'earn back' the annual fee. Later on once you're reestablished, you can (usually) PC the QuickSilver One to a 'regular' QuickSilver, with no AF.
Don't be disappointed if you have to start with a secured card... trust me, there is light at the end of the tunnel!
(Been there, done that!! )
