Can you seriously get any more vague than this?? Kinda like, "Ask the girl to the dance, she might say Yes, or She Might Say NO!" But feel free to ask...
No thanks Cap 1 !!
Have to think long and hard before going with a CAP 1, triple pull, even for just a churn. Definitely not for a long term keeper. PASS

funny cap1 did a mailer for me on their platinum card with no rewards that arrived yesterday with a 26.99 apr lol.. Have 830-840 credit scores currently and 800kish in personal credit. Can't blame them for going after suckers but made me chuckle. Been getting the Aven card invites a few times a month that go in the trash as well
P2 gets flyers for savior all the time. She doesn't want it. Still, Capone does have preapproval, if they have a card you're interested in, why not?
I got the 3% aven card, I've been happy with it. 3% on anything is handy. I apped right after I went for prime with a $250 sub. Two new accounts are just as fast as one. Chase went $9,000, aven went $15,000, they're not chinsey.

Not really on subject but have AOD 3% @ 20k limit for non cat spend so no need for Aven card. Point being Cap1 gives laughable offers at super prime credit with people that have way better cards than a no reward earner ![]()
This sounds about right for Capital One. They send me so many mail offers compared to other issuers. A lot of them are just invitations to apply, rather than actual targeted offers, too.

Looks like it's time for you to get a new spellcheck program: if it insists, as you say, on replacing "savor" with "savior" but won't correct "chinsey" (which isn't even an actual word) to the proper "chintzy", it's crap!
Somebody has "yokes!" 😂
A lot of people will just look at the picture and assume they're approved...
