Cap1 2nd statement, 91+ days since open, no cli

I wasn't able to until after the sixth statement cut and even that was just a credit steps increase... Your results may vary.

If you are in Credit Steps it's usually auto after 6 months. With my recent QS card I was able to bump up to $5k in 4 months though.

ugh bad news. have you tried since? i tried yesterday and no go. 3rd statement is on 11th. will try again the 12th.

There are tons of recent posts regarding Cap1 not increasing limits.   Banks have been hit HARD on the recent stock market decline.   Cap1 has most likely turned to a more conservative stance, as a result of current market conditions.  Here is a chart of their stock tanking in the past 3 months...

Got my CLI last night. 

3rd payment was due on the 8th. CLI from 300 to 800. Went in to pay bill in full before they report. Figured I would check while in there(been trying 1-2 times a week.

i have been trying since my third statement cut, I have a platinum with a $300 limit and theyre telling me its too new still.  I have been using the crap out of it and paying it off.  Pushing it to full utilzation and then paying it.  I messaged them on FB and they beat around the bush and basically said until 6 months with the account they wont do it.  I dont know what else to do to get them to increase it! $300 is nothing, I know im rebuilding but I have the income to support it definitely

well i wrote that comment and then decided to head to Cap1 and give it another shot and the day after they denied my request they approve me for a $500 increase so my new limit is $800! I cant believe it! The only thing I can think I did differently was apply for it during business hours, and applied while a payment was pending

i too request cli when payment was pending. had just scheduled the full balance to be paid.

Well I requested a CLI, about a day or two ago and got the 2-3 bd message. I will have my 3rd statement cut on the 25th this month. I am supposed to have an credit step increase in March or May. Just waiting to see what they will say. Hopefully I will have some good news!
