Re: Cap1 CreditSteps question

I requested a CLI about 45 days after my account was opened, not realizing at the time that they auto-decline CLI's on accounts younger than 90 days. Will be requesting another one at 91 days and see what happens - also curious if they do grant a CLI request, would it cancel the credit steps CLI that is due 60 days later? I guess we'll see.

    Total Loan Balance: $43k / $65k

    Total SL: $78k

From all I’ve seen on here regarding the Credit Steps, receiving an early CLI does not affect your credit steps increase.  It may just reduce the amount you receive by the amount of the early increase.

^^^ correct. If they give you a CLI that gets you partway to the post-steps limit, when you finish steps you’ll get the rest of it.
