Cap1 QS1 wierd rep convo

I recently applied and got the message of them needing to further look at my credit profile. Called cap1 asking if i needed to send in   ( ss, DL) that kinda stuff but the rep said that they hadn't even pulled my credit to see if they needed more information. Does that sound strange to you guys or am i just thinking too much into this?

Sounds strange.  I'd try again tomorrow.  How long ago did you apply and have you seen if any hard inquiries have been done so far?

Yes, it does sound strange.  Ring them back tomorrow and speak preferably to a supervisor to see what is going on.

Yes, that does sound strange. I would call back to the EO office.

Very strange if they said they didn't even pull your credit. Let us know how it goes!

I applied for a cap one card last week and received the same message. I just figured it was going to turn into a denial and let it go. This morning I got the alert that they just pulled my credit today! So maybe if you check today yours is pulled now too.
