Thanks. I might but if they look at inquiries or do them as HP's then I will have to pass. If they will upgrade my current cards then I might jump on the deal.

The prequals on the site are SP's. Not sure if upgrading requires any actual pulls though.
Cap1 is Soft pulling your CR's(when you are running the pre-qual tool) and seeing that you have added new inquiries/accounts thus your offers for Pre-Qual either went away or changed.. Wait several months and they should be back assuming you keep your credit it order.

It's cool. I have cards I use more anyways.
I have 2 Q1's that they won't PC. Soon as the second one hit the year mark next month, I'm going to hit the love button, combine into one then sock drawer it goes!!
You also might check each card and see if there is a 12 or 18 month 0% BT on one of the cards before you combine. If you do have one I would suggest combining them into that one and you will have a nice 0% BT card..

Actually just found out upgrades are SP's. My Platinum got turned to a QS1 and kept the same account #. I also just checked my CR and I have no Inq's from cap1 since last year.

I was hoping it was an error. lol no I understand, it's just the 2 HP's on EX. I just got 2 approvals on Sunday. I'm kind of wondering how much of an impact these new lines are going to have.
Glad to hear they are SPs, that makes it a bit easier!
I'm going to keep checking the prequal website... I really want to app lol but I want to do this right. I'm thinking 3 months minimum but probably 6 months overall wait time...

Checked and still getting the blah offers. I didn't think 2 inquiries could throw off a prequal so quickly. Cap1 is usually so inq friendly.
I know they tend to have less of an impact after 12 months but what about 3 or 6? No baddies to speak of except a 30 day late from March 2013... possibly a 60 day from April 2013 (fighting Acura on that) but the car loan is paid off as of April 2013. You can see other info on my siggy or reading my earlier posts.
When I mouseover the see if your prequalififed link a balloon pops open that says "Get back in the garden!"

Oh I hear ya, I'm afraid to do anything more at this point! And then I'm worried if I don't.
A lot of suggestions are stating wait 3 - 6 months. I'm still learning a lot and wondering... would I be better off apping
now because Cap1 seems finicky. Will those new accounts look better considering I stay below 9 % and good standing... or worse because I have several new accounts opened within a year. I mean what the chances are I won't see those prequals again. Urgh.

Take a word of advice from someone who just racked up all the inq's in my siggy and stop. Stop while you can. If a unique opportunity presents itself, you don't want to kick yourself because you rolled the dice and got denied something good and then have no choice but to wait 2 years. It sucks.
