So on the capital 1 site the actual pre qualification app says you can't be matched to a pre qualified offer unless you are 21 years of age. So you could be qualified, but since you aren't old enough it will just give you the "we think you might like this offers" I'm 20 and turning 21 in a couple months. Already have a venture 1. Is there a reason for the age requirement? I've never pre qualified for anything except credit one and first premier. I wonder if my age is keeping me from qualifying?

The prequalify thing at age 21 is part of a law if I'm not mistaken. Government stepped in to keep banks from preying upon college students and having them ruin their credit before it's established.
