CapOne Walmart CLI

Has anyone that applied (after Capital One took over in September) received a CLI yet? They were really conservative with my SL compared to my other two cards with them and I am wondering if anyone else has gotten an auto or successfully requested a CLI for their card?

Doubt it. Until they’re “ready” to give CLI’s, it’s the same card no matter if you had it before or after it changed to Cap1.

@CreditBloke, you can reference some DPs upthread, but it appears there's only been a handful reported since the transition to Capital One.  You can always search in the Approvals forum, if anything. A couple threads are listed below:

I've tried for 4 months now since the switch and every month been the same NOPE but here is the reasons why not enough time at current limit and i've only had the card now for 18 months for so lol

Doubt you'll see one. They allow you to request a CLI at any time. That would be cruel to do a HP each time you request one.

You can ask for a CLI again tomorrow if you want.

You pay 3 HPs upfront for a lifetime HPs membership. I  Capital 1 for this.

Asking for a CLI with Cap1 is a SP. Only time you receive HP's is when applying for new credit.

I've had the Walmart card for about 2 years now with a $300 SL and gradually got to $1000 until it stopped right before the C1 cutover. I've been reading a few of the posts were none have gotten CLI luv from C1 on their Wally card so I figured I shouldn't try either, it'll just get me irritated ( grin)...... so yesterday I was making an online payment and I thought WTH an push the luv button......2K bang! Just like that C1 fired away...... I've been at 1k for 2 years and just a few months C1 triples it...... way to go!

anyway just want to share C1 is back in the game handing out goodies.
