Capital One Account Combination

Thought someone here might be able to shed some light...

I have five accounts with Capital One.

Venture

VentureOne

QuickSilver

QuickSilverOne

Sony Card

I have been trying to combine accounts and I keep getting the same message that they're not eligible. Anyone have an idea why? Two accounts are at $0 balance, all in good standing, and all over 6 months (some much more).

Customer service didn't have a reason...and the EO hasn't been able to help.

Sony can't be combined. Have you tried without that card?

Would I have to unlink the sony account? From what I can tell, it won't let me choose?

Well the Sony Card definitely can't be combined as its cobranded and cap1 doesn't seem to allow for combining cobranded cards. As for the others, it still seems to be hit or miss with being eligible for account combination.

1. Are they all linked online?

2. Do any have pending transactions?

If the answer to both of the above is "no", I have no answer.

They are all linked. And none have pending transactions...

Someone on another post mentioned to make sure ALL of your accounts have the exact same address - make sure one doesn't say street and the other one st - that person spoke with someone technical at Cap1..........
