I just check Citi and Bank of America..... no offers for Citi but Bank Of America Cash Rewards was the first offer they had for me followed by Travel Rewards and Better Balance Rewards....... do you think I'll have a chance with BOA? and who do they pull?

The BOA'sprequalifier isn't very reliable. Did it have a set APR (i.e. 14.24%) or was it a range of APRs (i.e. 13% - 21%)? If it's a set APR, that's better, if it's a range then it's just marketing.

0% introductory APR on purchases and qualifying transfers for 12 billing cycles, after that 13.24-23.24% variable APR on the cash rewards card.....

Ya, the " 13.24-23.24% variable APR" is a range. Doesn't mean you wouldn't get approved if you tried, but that's not a true prequal--just marketing. If you still have most of the cards in your sig, then you should be able to qualify for the card you want. Do you have any baddies on your credit report? How many inquires and new accounts in the last year?
Edit: it double posted my reply

All of my accounts are fairly new...... a few 7 months ago and a few within the last 3 months..... my oldest cards are the credit one and capp one......
Inquiries TU9 EX7 EQ7
Well, if you're getting ready to garden anyway, then another inquiry (or 3) won't kill you. Why not just try for the card you really want? If you like Cap 1 (I love them) then try for a Quicksilver or Venture (whichever one suits you better). There have been reports of people getting approved without a prequal, so I guess you never know. But they will do a HP on each bureau - so 3 INQs total. BOA pulled EX for me, but it depends on where you live (google "credit pulls database").

That's what I was afraid of
It's possible it could be for verification or manual review. When I got my first Cap1 card I got that message, and then like a 2 weeks later I was approved. So there is hope, but most who get that message are denied. Maybe it's time to garden.
