Capital One Approval?

I was preapproved for a capital one card a couple of weeks ago.  I got the standard 7-10 day notice.  I received a request to verify my ss# in the mail, so I faxed that in.  They haven't pulled any of my credit reports yet though?  Any idea what that means?

Sound like you need some info verified, also pretty sure the pulled your report already as soon as you hit that submit button. Probably just haven't been notified of it yet.

They did that to me and I was approved. They are not interested in obtaining the rest of your information for a denial.

I was preaprroved via the capital one website and I applied  I got the 7-10 day wait period. I hope I get approved.

I say call them.

I got a pre-approval for their Quicksilver Card just 2 weeks ago.

I went online and applied and got approved and just 5 days later, the shiny new card arrived in the mail.

They're usually not that strict (at least for me. I've been with CapitalOne for about 3 years now) so just give them a call.

What was the outcome? I'm asking because I also applied received the 7-10 day notice, then called and they said they just need identity verification. And for me to fax in my ss and I'd with address on it. I asked them does this mean I'm approved, now all you have to do is verify who I am? He said the basic simulation approves you, but I'm not sure if you'll be approved after you verify yourself. WHAT THE HECK DOES THAT MEAN?? LOL
