I just recieved my new Venture Card, and am wondering if it is a good idea to hit the Cap 1 luv button on activation?

It can't hurt but realistically you won't receive one that quickly. Usually you have to wait at least 3 months.

Thanks Irish.

You can hit it as often as you wish, but cap1's CLI pattern is generally once every six month, and they don't do the whole CLI at activation thing.
Thanks Omar.
Congrats Jerry!
Hate to say it but it's easier to take the hit on a second Venture (when you get another prequal and are able to make the bonus spend), then combine in 6 months. I tried for CLI for 8 months then just app'd for another. I never have to hit that button again (29k), lol. I will probably wait a year or 2 to combine.
edit: as a plus, the second had their best APR (12.9), the first was 16.9

Thanks Elim. Makes a lot of sense.
