Just got an automatic CLI for Capital One from $1,000 to $5,000. I asked for a CLI back in January but was rejected with not enough usage as the reason. I thought my card may have been bucketed since it was my first card out of bankruptcy. No changes in credit scores since January, and I still haven't used the card much (~$100-$200 a month paid in full before the statement posts). Sharing in case anyone else is looking to get a CLI from Capital One. They may be easing up on handing out CLI's.

Congrats on the approval! That is amazing. I applied for CLI on my Quick Silver One while having it for 10 months but declined me (and also asked for a product change but the rep said I had no offers for a product change). But instead they gave me a preaaproval for a Savor One and was approved for $2,000. Makes me think that I will not be able to product change or get a CLI on this quick silver that has a $39 annual fee not secured.

Wow, that is very larger CLI for Cap1. Which card was it?

It's the Capital One Quicksilver (no annual fee).
Congratulations on your CLI!

Congrats! A bunch of people got similar increases from Cap1 about a year ago, maybe it's back.
Congrats! They also said I don't use the QS enough, so I've jacked up the usage since then.
I plan on asking in 6 months for a CLI, hopefully they'll approve the next time around.

Congrats on your CLI!
I have been waiting and tried many times to get a CLI on my over 6 yr old Cap1 card since 2018. It started 400 and 6 months later got a CLI to 700.
Still sits at 700 today. I have tried everything with it.
I think my Bucket is located somewhere beneath the Center of the Earth smh.
Congrats! I was originally approved for $500 in May 2023; I've tried repeatedly for a CLI and finally just got $100 in Feb 2024 with them after months of using it for $100-200, PIF, and requesting CLI.
They were my second approved card (after Apple Card) CH 13 BK discharged, and they are unwavering. Any requests since Feb 24 have been met with "you recently got a CLI." Prior declines were accounts too new and payments returned (I was stupid and used the wrong bank info to make a payment once, but I literally have PIF early every month, and after this returned payment, I actually paid the larger balance in full).
I get they're a bank, and likely the BK on my CR still is causing it, but they are starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth where I'll keep this card and never use it again.
