Capital One Convert

Hello All,

I currently have 2 cards with Capital One; Venture World Mastercard - $5,300 CL and Visa Signature with a CL of 10K.

I keep getting pre-qualified forms for SilverOne.

Thoughts on converting any of the above to the SilverOne?  I've had good standings with Capital One.

The traveling card isn't doing me a whole lot, but would like to keep the World or Signature if I were to convert.... Suggestions?

Re: Capital One Convert

If you are talking about the QuicksilverOne, I don't believe that they come in a signature edition. I know that the regular Quicksilver comes in a Visa signature but have not had those cards and tried to convert them to a different category. I would just call them and see what kind of offers you get.

Thanks, is the QuickSilver any better or worse then the current cards I have?

Re: Capital One Convert

Depends on what you are going to use it to get. If you are looking for straight cash back the Quicksilver offers 1.5% cashback. If you travel a lot, then the 2% Venture makes more sense depending on how much you put on credit cards.

Re: Capital One Convert

The QuicksilverOne has an annual fee, so the regular Quicksilver is a better card.
