A lot of card issuers are giving off signals that herald a tighter economy and a credit crunch. Certainly going to be "interesting".
Hopefully others can chime in on their experience to see if this is valid or just another CSR/Supervisor story of false statements.

The same thing happened when I submitted Venture & QS apps for DH minutes apart.
Apparently this rule is in effect because I haven't heard one person get approved within 6 mos of their last approved Capital One card.
I can chime in and this is true indeed, my brother opened his account May this year and he got the QuickSilver and Platinum both at the same time. I opened mine this June and tried for Quicksilver and I was denied and received a letter stating that I was just granted credit. Called CS and was told of the new policy. ...
