Closing a secure card has FICO scores go down? right? for how long? first few months or a whole year.

If it was indeed your first revolving card you kept it for say 3 years and close it (becoz of high AF) and you wanted to apply for unsecured within 3 mos is that a good idea.

What happens to AA0A? especially if the secure card was your first card ever.

I closed my Cap One secured and no AAOA or score dip.

No, they dont do that. You should close the account on the secured card since you now have several other cards with them. You should get your money back! It is never a good thing to keep a secured card for a long time. Those cards are just to help you get established and open the door to other cards.
