OMGGGGG,
SOOOO SORRY I DID NOT UPDATE!!
Anyway, I called back 3 days after they told me 3 to 5 more days after they had to verify initial info, to be put on hold again, only then, they came back on the line and I was APPROVED for $5k. The card is currently in route to my house
FYI, I also was approved for a Chase FU card 4 months ago for $7k, and I have used it constantly. Anyway, I logged into my acct the other day, and realized Chase increased my CL +$5k to $12,000 total CLI. .... INSANE!! I didn't even ask for it. Does anyone know how Cap One is with CLI's? Do I have to ask for one after 6 months? Will it just happen Like Chase? I also have a new Chase offer with a green check under my acct for a Slate card, Sap Pref, and Saph Res. Any thoughts on the green check? Is it pre-approval or going to be a three bureau hard pull I don't need?
Thanks again!!
Mark
With Capital One, you'll want to request your CLIs. Using the card a lot and paying in full each month is the key.
I think you can request when your card is three months old, but someone will have to confirm. As time goes on, the only restriction is that you'll be ineligible to request until six months have passed since your previous CLI. If you're declined, there's no waiting period before you can try again. If you're offered an increase that you think is insufficient, you can decline it without resetting the time you can request again.
Is it a hard pull for a CLI w/ Cap One?
