So, I wanted to know, how "trustworthy" are these capital one pre-approvals?
I logged into capital one and I saw the option to open a new account, and see if I'm pre-approved. Well, I got pre-approved for the following 3 cards:
I've never been offered a pre-approval for the SavorOne (of any kind) before. So the fact that they're offering it to me, makes me tempted to apply for it. I already have the Venture Card with them, which I use and pay off. I wanted to know, is this offer legit, or are they just "enticing" me to apply since it's the SavorOne rewards card? Also, is the SavorOne better than the QuickSilver?
I would bet legit since you are an existing cardholder (in good standing?). Sometimes you have to pay the 3B piper to see.
I know prequals are no guarantee but i'm 2 for 2 with the cap 1 prequal.
Thats how i got my savor one for good credit.
I think i use the savor one the most out of all my cards with the 3 pct cb on dining and groceries, ymmv

Earn unlimited 3% cash back on dining, entertainment, popular streaming services and at grocery stores
For these categories, Savor One is probably better than your venture. But you'd have to doublecheck and do the math with how you earn/redeem rewards with your venture.
Quicksilver is probably irrelevant for you since you already have the Venture.
You do mean Venture, right? and not VentureOne?

Only excellent version have sub, and that's like 3 yrs credit history, FYI.

OP didn't say pre-qual he said pre-approved...
These are cards offered to pre-existing customers and are much more of a sure thing than a pre-qual according to Cap1 a 90% approval rate.

I Woke to a email from Capital One this morning, stating:
"You work hard to manage your credit responsibly, and the next step on your credit journey is clear—an offer to earn rewards on every purchase with the SavorOne Mastercard® from Capital One, all with no annual fee. This offer includes:"
I was planning on gardening until early next year to wait for some inquiries to fall off before trying to apply for new cards to replace my some of my lack luster cards.
I'm tore because if I'm approved, the Savor One would be one of my better cards, 3% cash back of groceries & dining, $0 Annual Fee.
Capital One QuickSilver One was my first card I got in the effort to rebuild my credit (see my starting scores) while it's OK, I know for a fact that in their low tier bucket with no real way to see a CL above $1k. The Savor One could be different (see my current scores which have been the same for the past few months), but that triple credit pull will hurt. What to do, What to do?

I think you should be good. I used the pre-approval to see if I qualified for the Venture card and then was approved for the VentureX. And they have sent me pre-approvals for the Savor card for years but I never got it since I had a QS and was waiting for a better travel card option.
