I have been rebuilding and letting things fall off my CR...etc...
TU only has two CO that fall off August and November of this year
EQ has the two CO, a collection for one of the CO (same fall off as above), and an Auto CO(fall off August)
Experian has two CO and their collection accounts plus the Auto
All these accounts are the same accross the CRAs
I was looking at the Capital One site today. I decided to see what the PreQual had for me.
Last time it said that I was only Pre for the Platinum as an additional card to the QuickSilver 1 that I have had for about two months.
I have a QuickSilver 1 that I currently use. $2000CL/carry about $300-400 the first two statements. I mostly charge and then pay the next day. This balance will go away on the 7th. This hasn't reported to the bureaus yet. I was thinking about asking for CLI.
It is only the second card I have had since about 2009 when things went bad in a divorce. The other card is a CreditOne $600CL/$42 to be paid off as soon as I can(it won't let me pay it because they only allow 4 payments in 30 days).
Today I run the card PreQual and it says that I am PreQual for a regular QuickSilver, a Venture Card, and "of course" that Platinum Card.
Is this right? Could I really get those cards? I haven't run a real Fico yet, but Identity Guard has me in the 640-660 range across the board. CK though, has me a 589 and 607 because it is reporting a high Util because I let the statement from CreditOne close before I paid it down. $577 on the $600 for CreditOne
I don't want to app upp with Capital One and get denied. Should I just start with a CLI with the card I have?

Most folks who have gotten prequal'd for the Venture have gotten it...and a nice limit to boot. If you can spare the three inquiries, I'd go for it.
Most folks have gotten it? Have you had any luck with them?

I haven't had pre-qual yet but plan on going for it when I do get it eventually!
What about the Chase site? Is it usually acurate too? I got an offer for Chase Freedom? I thought that might be better than Venture since I don't fly often. Still, the idea that Cap 1 gives good size CL might make it better anyway.
I haven't been on here for too long. Still learning how all this works

I'd go with Chase. Better company. Better quality. Better results.
I still get that crazy.....what if I get denied nervousness that what if this hurts my score even more feeling.
It seems like people are saying they are pretty accuarate, and I can't beat having them in my profile as the baddies fall off.
I guess I just need to bite the bullet and do it.
