Well, well, well....I lied I guess, said I would not call Cap1 again but I did this morning after CK notified me of a new inquiry on EQ.....I called Cap1 to question why another inq was made and was told the first pull "was not complete" so they deleted it and pulled another this morning and lo and behold told me I was approved for the Savor1 ......had to send them a photo of the reverse side of my driver's license and was given a 5K starting line.....this is actually a low limit for me.....hope it will grow.  There's a $150 SUB for the Savor1 and I'll take that.  I checked back on CK to make sure there were not 2 hard pulls from Cap1 and only one is showing, will make sure that's also the case on MYFICO

Lol, congratulations! Does it show up in your Cap1 account by chance the Savor? I didn't apply via the regular website. I applied via the prequalifed offer which offered no sub and a fixed interest rate.

not showing up on my Cap1 site yet.....said I should have the card in "7-10" days....don't know if the card has to be activated or not before it shows up.

It does need to be. Mine was mailed out over a month ago, but I've not been round to collect the mail, and it hasn't been added to my online account.

My sentiments exactly......not gonna use Cap1 anymore if this goes down the tubes...and definitely not going to call anymore.

I called in too lol. It's still pending, and my app hasn't been processed. I guess I'm in for the long haul. With my luck it will be a decline lol.

Re: Capital One Pre-Qualify?

Cap 1 has been sending me invitations to apply for the QS with no annual fees which i keep ignoring

this weeks I unfroze my credit files temporaly to apply for some CLI with a few of my cards and I decided to do a PQ with cap1 to

see if I can qualify for anything other than QS and I was only pre-qualified for the MC Platinum prefered I don't even know if its one of their new or old cards. I didn't apply for it as I wanted to look into it further.

It’s new card. Look at my original message when I first started this thread.

Re: Capital One Pre-Qualify?

No, I had not heard anything. So I decided to call in today. They told me they needed to verify my income. So I have to fax them over copies of paystubs. I’ve never had to do income verification before on a credit card application. Is this normal for prequalified offers?

Re: Capital One Pre-Qualify?

It happens occasionally. At least Capital One doesn't ask for tax transcripts.

Gotcha, at first they asked for bank statement. I told them I coudn't provide one becuase I just switched from BOA to Chase, so they were cool with my last two paystubbs. I'm glad I called becuase they claimed to have sent me an email about it. I haven't received anything via email.
